Why stay away from meth injection?

I making 680whp on pump gas and water/meth with a dual walbro setup. And still maintain stock drivability and fuel economy, that won't happen with E85.

Also ran a intank single bosch 044 for awhile as well.

I've ran E85, race gas, alcohol, and for a street car, I will always run pump gas/ water/meth injection. All things considered.

Depending on your power requirements, you'll need much larger than 1000cc and a Bosch 044 pump to make good power on E85.

When setup properly, you can make loads of power on E85 or Pump Gas w/water/meth injection. E85 will just be much more demanding on a fuel system.

People have gotten very good results using meth injection. There a lot of issues that can occur though with the meth injection kit. I made good power too, but also had a serious issue with the meth injection kit, a problem that could have destroyed my motor.

Issues do occur. The best you can do is plan for it, maintain, and setup fail safes. Looks like you were able to save a motor, so that's good. It kind of comes with the territory with highly modified cars making a ton of power, regardless of methods of injecting and types of fuel.

I had some major issues on E85 too. But I ran it 3 years ago, the blends might have improved since then.

I just don't see why someone would say to stay away from meth injection because they had an issue. I mean, maybe say, be careful of, or look out for something that you have experienced.

I don't tell anyone to stay away from E85 because of my issues, you can make tons of power on it. You just need to be aware and educate yourself on it, just like meth injection. Both have different challenges.

It's one thing when several people have had issues with and tuners are saying to stay away from it. It's another for one person to have a problem.
