Is this power correct
Heard from a few ppl that there curious why my power band is low for the boost im running..Im asuming this is due to the small turbo im running. Ik there are alot of experienced FI guys on here and would love to hear some feedback

Your tiny turbo and log mani definitely isnt helping you make good power.
Your setup is similar to a greddy kit so at 9psi its about right. Your tq is higher then usual cause of your 2.4L

Im not too worried about massive power. What i have is more then sufficient for what the car is used for. I just had been told 9psi at 285hp? Seems a bit low, so I figure this would be a good place to start out at.
I was just told at 9psi i should be making 350+...But i also wonder if this isnt different airflow with a much larger turbo eg; gt35r etc....

You would probably see 310whp if you rev it out to 8200rpm but at 7700rpm and 9psi you make similar power to greddy and inlinepro log mani. However like i said your tq is higher cause of your motor.
350whp+ at 9psi would have to be with a ELM

The gt2860rs is a t3...
Again this is a drift setup motor. Lots of tq and quick boost. Taking the motor past 8000rpm is asking for trouble.To much chance of spinning a rod bearing. The car came tuned from dcraft at 15psi at 350whp on 103 at 7700rpm..anything above 300hp in drifting is a waste mostly

For your application I think its normal. From what everyone has said your size turbo and log mani is the difference. I like your powerband and especially in that s13 chassis. Its going to be nasty!
I agree bout the lower rpms. Even with rocker arm stoppers on my SR I was always afraid to float a valve especially banging high rpms for a length of time.

Realisticly a F22 makes about 200 to the wheels let's say (good round #). I know your and F24, so you could add in another 10whp let's say, but I'm ballparking here.
Add 9lbs of boost, is netting you another 85whp.
Thats about ~9.5whp per lb of boost.
Typical for such a small turbo.
Remember, not all turbo's are created equal, 9psi out of a gt28, vs a gt35r are NOT going to flow the same amount of air at a given psi.
You could also calculate into the fact that the dyno reads a little low, so who knows...in the end your butt will be the real test. Does it feel strong?
In the end, your in the +/- area, even if on the low side a bit, but that could be anything.
Don't sweat a number.
