Again, im not wanting more power. Im asking if this power is correct for the turbo/hp im making.....And i agree siadam Im not worried about the numbers. And my butt tells me the motor is beautiful...
I didnt mention either. I run a Stage 3 BC Exhaust Cam, ap1 intake cam

Though one thing i have noticed is the power drop off up top. Not that the motor is failing, but the turbo just cannot support the massive airflow these motor creates...I noticed today when I did a WOT run 2-4, it just seemed to loose its giddy up lol so to speak at the top of the power pand. After looking at the new gtx3076 it seems this turbo would be sufficient to keep the instant boost power I have now, but also keeping the horsepower in the range I will eventually need.

The turbo sits fairly close to the strut tower. The old manifold was beyond done. It had been trackside welded soo many times the metal was just junk. It wasnt even worth fixing because it was going to crack again. I still have them and will possibly use them for a guide later on when making a custom manifold. Bottom mount is out of the question because the crossmember/frame rails are right in the way. Unlike the s2k the cross member runs right under the oil pan not set forward. This is an STR ebay manifold and works fine that I can see.

Running more power will be when competition starts getting heavier. Plus Pro Am isnt until next year (if vegas even gets it) and even then I might not need more power.Making more power on my car will require new pistons/rods/turbo.These h22 pistons are shit, and yes i regret ever putting them back in the car (even though it wasnt expensive).
What do you guys think about inline pro k24 conversion rods,f20c pistons? Acustom manifold will really be my only option unless I can find an identical version of my DC manifold to make it fit properly. As far as Vtec my tuner doesnt do tons of hondas (mainly nissans unfortunately). I will mention lowering the vtec a bit (which was also verified by the previous owner)..

Maybe a dumb question but do you guys still get vtec kick with FI's?
I cant even tell when mine comes on, All i can hear is the dump tube lol.

I have a Greddy kit and ever Greddy person feels the same way. Downlow at 3k my head yanks back and when vtec engages you get this sense of did it engage? Its just the power transition has changed and to answer your question no I dont feel vtec. Matter of fact I drove my car and logged my driving to make sure the car wasnt pulling timing from the cold weather and that i wasnt boost spiking.

With a SC absolutely. Leaving it stock engagement at my boost level feels violent. I've busted two diffs running too high a vtec. The lower the better. 4- 4.5k rpm is the common area to smooth out the powerband and build max mid range power. But this isn't even relatable to your set up/turbo.

Your power peaks way early. That thing is choking out bad up top.

I would think lowering your Vtec crossover running a log mani like you are would hinder you more than help. From what i understand you actually need to raise your vtec crossover with a log mani to allow power to be made. Dont hold me to it but that is how I have understood these setups.
100% correct,
my vtec was set at 6800.. any lower and there was a huge dip in power
