With a Walbro, KB BAP, and ID1000s I made 442whp@13psi. This is on a Mustang dyno which I was told was reading exactly 8% lower then the dynojet it just replaced. Oh the fuel system was maxed. I was really hoping for a little more with the BAP but oh well. Need to add another pump.

wow that sucks that BAP didn't help very much, what duty cycle were the injectors at? stock fuel pressure?

You don't know that, what was his fuel pressure?

agreed. he might have been running stock base pressure.

He was stock base pressure 42psi idle climbing to 55 psi at redline. Not sure why he did not up the fuel pressure but I have heard a walbro has a relief valve at 80psi?? Looks like pressure naturally climbs 10 psi approaching redline.

It was on stock pressure, did not get my fpr back from synapse in time for the tune. Although my tuner did note that we were at 65psi at redline. Idk if he was mistaken or the BAP is adding some pressure some how. If it was at 65 then there is not much more to add. I can't remember but I'm sure the walbro has a pressure relief valve at 70-80psi can't remember exact number.

Remember it was on a real low reading dyne. Car should be around 500whp on a dynopack. Maybe I'll put on a dynopack for fun.

You really need to push those relief valves in on the Walbro pumps. They start to bleed pressure off at somewhere around 55 psi and then gradually bleeds more off as the pressure gets higher. Pushing those relief valves in will let the Walbro hold steady pressure all the way to about 85 psi.

In case anyone is wondering how to do this, here is a good explanatory link. I myself did not do this, but if I were forced to run jacked up fuel pressure, I would think about giving it a try.
