Yep, this has been mentioned before but I'm not too sure it's true. When I spoke to Chris from Bullhead gears, he never mentioned this when I was looking to get them. A group buy may drop the price some though and should be looked into if it will. If they dont drop the price for a group buy, thats BS.
it was 5500 with group buy which is BS!

^^Yeah, the price drop for a group buy should be a minimum of $500 per gear set, not $200.

agreed. It sucks having no mid-way transmission option for our car. You either roll with a stock or drop big bucks on PPG.

WHen I priced the PPG dogbox with Bullhead Gears it was something like $6800. Where are you getting the $10k price from?

this whole topic saddens me...has anyone made any headway on putting a ford or g-force tranny behind the f20 relatively cheap?

Add the reduction gear and shipping and you will be at 10k or close to it now.

To Phi I just sold a ppg dog set . If I would of known you was looking I would of liked to save shipping cost . I just couldnt see me driving a dogbox in Houston no matter what time a day.

From talking with PPG rep they will make you a set without a group buy but you will wait alot longer
