Got all the wiring done today and fired her up and drove her around the block for a bit. She runs great and I guess I adjusted the valves prefectly because the valvetrain is whisper quiet.

Looks as if the dyno tune will be this weekend.

It's a bitch to put that on, my back almost broke after 2-3 hrs trying to put that inside the tank, because i have the rollcage was on a way also, so you know.

Btw- have you try to crank the engine on to see if your fuel gauge is working, I dont know what i did wrong, my fuel gauge is not working at all.
Thanks for all the nice comments guys.

Yeah, I did fire it up tonite and drove it around. My fuel pressure gauge works great but the only thing weird is, after you shut the car off, the pressure bleeds down fairly quickly. I guess this must be normal for the Fuel Lab FPR.

Oh, you were referring to the fuel gauge. Well, I am having some weird issues with it but I dont know why. I drained my tank and the fuel gauge still showed a half tank but it may have been because I had the front of the car in the air about a foot. I also ran and got 8 gallons of race gas to put in it and after I put it in, the fuel gauge went up to 3/4 tank. I'll just have to drive it I guess and see if it works properly and shows the correct fuel level as it goes down.

Hey Chadd, did you install that pump with the socks pointed that direction??

They need to be pointed towards the floater on the sending unit. Otherwise they are going to be sandwiched up against the side of the tank.

The socks will look like they are on top of each other, but this is the correct way. You might not have any issues with it, but just thought I'd bring it up if you haven't already put the pumps in.

Its the Fuel Lab FPR. You can see it in a couple of the pics. Just follow the front -8 fuel line from the fuel rail and it goes right into the FPR. I had to make a custom aluminum mount to be able to mount the FPR to the intake manifold just behind the throttle off the butterfly valve. Right now I have the fuel pressure set to about 37 psi just to keep the idle safe in the low 14 A/F until the tune this weekend. When we go to tune it, we will probably raise the fuel pressure to around 45 psi.
