yes, seriously.. the vtec pressure switch port only gets oil when vtec is ON. The supercharger kits get the oil from the vtec supply, which is high pressure at all times.

there is a minimal amount of oil that goes through the vtec system at all times.. very low pressure.. under 20psi. Probably enough to keep the turbo alive as long as you dont have a restrictor

^^^

Doing it right is cheap insurance. Like I said, it was the easiest part of my install.

Not sure what they will do but does anyone have an idea what could have happened? The feed is coming from the vtec solenoid and the return is going to the front engine cover.
Is this Herecomesboost car that he recently sold?

Precision's customer service is top notch. They rebuilt my 6262 two times so far FREE OF CHARGE. All they need to perform warranty work on the turbo is the original sales receipt for the turbo. I also reccomend changing the feed to the pressure sensor port.

So is it "the vtec pressure switch port only gets oil when vtec is ON" or "low pressure.. under 20psi". I just want to get this cleared up so in the future people won't read this thread and be confused.

What does it matter? Don't use the vtec pressure switch for oil feed bottom line.

There is a high pressure feed mere inches away from the the vtec solenoid located on the block next to the oil filter.

Okay I will change over to pressure sensor port. Does anyone have a picture of where it is, and what fittings fit to make this instal quick and easy? Also should I still run the restrictor when using this port or take it out?
