Problem with Greddy turbo kit question
I can't imagine it's the tuning if it's what comes the kit. I would assume Greddy tunes the Emanage pretty conservatively so it can be as generic as it needs to be. I would look at hardware before software in this case or else you'll use a retune as a band aid to cover up a hardware issue. At least start by going to Autozone and having the codes read to see if there is anything to lead you in the right direction.
I would say its running rich. I had the same problem you had. Stab the throttle and it would bog but ease into it you're fine. My wideband would just peg at 9.99 either way it went. Better to run rich then lean.

Can anyone elaborate on why it's safe to run rich, but risky to run lean?
Why is it safer/risky, and what's the worst case scenario?
Thanks

Why do people think that the basemap, which was tuned with a stock cat, will run just peachy on a catless car?
There's most likely nothing wrong with your hardware or software, go get a tune or put your cat back in if you want it to run better. And yes, a step colder than stock for spark plugs would be a good thing.

I have colder spark plugs, also with my j's 70rr it is a one piece exhaust with no cat. I will be getting it tune and and installing my wideband, so hopefully that with fix my problems.
