i connect laptop with emange, its says online in the emanage software, but when i try to export data ,the box comes up saying "corresponding with unit" but nothing happens.

when i turn the car off the emanage still says online Ive tried reinstalling the software multiple times.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Are you using the cable supplid with the E-manage Support tool? IS it connected to the serial port on the PC?

 

I never had a com problem with mine. I set it to COM1, used a greddy cable (it's not a USB to Serial cable)

 

the supplier of the cable informed me that it was a defective cable. I had to take apart serial end of cable and switch out white and green wires and resolder.

argggg but now it works!
