Default Profec e01 and EMS

I did search but could not find anything as far as if the Profec e01 can be used with the EMS for just a boost controller so this way you don't have to tap into the EMS via laptop. You could just adjust max boost via the screen on the fly...???

I dont' see why it can't be used except I am not sure about the pressure sensors. Obviously if I am using the EMS ECU I would most likely need the pressure sensor from EMS but how would I communicate to the profec using AEM's pressure sensor. Then again if this is the case, then the profec can not be used to control boost with the EMS...??

....you can use the profec e01 as a boost controller by itself. It does not have to be wired into the AEM. It will use the greddy solenoid and the map as a signal. Now the AEM reads boost/load also from the map sensor, but you are not controlling boost through there just getting reading/value.

ideally use a GM 3 bar map sensor if you are going with the AEM. You will also need a Greddy boost solenoid which should come with the Profec e01.
