Dont meth and gasoline have two different stoichs?

I would of explained all this to Jeff? See what he thinks? Cause even i am still confused about this.

I'm not sure, only speculating but. The meth might be showing overly rich on a wideband set for gasoline stoich, And could actually just be good.

Jeff's database is chalked full of meth injection projects as well. Hard to think he's washing cyl's//just look at that pull!! Lol would-ya look at it

Also pretty sure meth was bad for roots blowers because it eats the Teflon coating?? Just trying to help, plz disregard if I'm blowing smoke. Thought I saw this is a root setup.

[attachment=99388:download.jpg]***UPDATE***

Gentlemen! I got retuned a week ago by Jeff Evans! It took less then an hour to have aem ems adjusted to the new parameters and injection settings on from the meth controller. Driveability is greatly improved over the previous tune.

***NOW
Both meth nozzles are controlled by the pulse width now instead of the 4psi/7psi boost reading from before. Which caused the meth to come on during part throttle. Currently the first nozzle comes on at WOT 30% PW and full on at 35%PW which is about 4300 rpm. The 2nd nozzle comes on at 35%PW and full on at 43%PW which is about 6000 rpm. I can go full throttle up to 4300 rpm without the meth spraying. This allows for no part throttle issues.

I have good news and bad news however. The good news I picked up 10whp more!!! 392whp!

The bad news is I lost some low-midrange as the dyno graph overlay shows here vs my last tune. There are a few reasons for this... 1. The meth is not spraying immediately from the beginning like previously helping to cool and seal the blowers rotors. Between my pump gas tune and meth tune logs there is a 1.5-2psi difference in the lower rpms below 6k. 2. Because it is not spraying right away we cant run as much timing and thus have lost power because of it.

An issue I also noticed shortly after the first time around was the red led on the controller was not lighting up. This led signals the 2nd nozzle is activated. This never lit up and looking back the parameters were set to high and were never met. So before I was spraying 625ml only, at a low rpm start, and directly into the blower causing puddling in the after cooler and not getting proper atomization. This time around it was corrected. Nozzle sizes were also adjusted Im actually running less meth with a total of 600ml. A 225ml nozzle pre blower and a 375ml post aftercooler. Atomization is vastly improved with no puddling!

***OVERALL THOUGHTS ON METH KIT AND FUTURE PLANS

Overall the meth kit is running well mechanically Ive had no issues with the pump, lines, or fittings. HOWEVER I am disappointed in meth controller. I paid $400 for what was suppose to be the best on the market. And its not just Snow Performance. The top/most popular meth inj companies all use the same controller. It can read Psi and Pw ONLY. It should read THROTTLE % !!!! If it could do that tuning and setting this controller up would be vastly easier.

I WANT the meth to start spraying at 3k rpm but I CANT because the pulse width % is to low and if I lower the % on the meth controller that means it will start spraying during part throttle again. If it read throttle % I could have it come on at say 75% throttle or more regardless of pw or psi. This would mean I could have that midrange power from the first tune without sacrificing the part throttle driveability of this tune.

SOOO I asked Jeff about what could be done and this is what we came up with. At some point in the future maybe over this winter Im going SCRAP the stage 3 meth controller!!! The Aem Ems has 12v output switches. These can be used to activate relays to activate the meth pump and first nozzle and the 2nd relay/switch to activate the 2nd nozzle. These switches can be set to turn on at a certain THROTTLE % AND RPM!!! Which will be perfect, had Id known about this from the beginning I would have done this to start.

Very close to 400whp gents!

How do u plan to get to the 400 mark?
Do u still have overspin left?

Right now at WOT the psi starts at 7-8psi til about 4.5k when it hits 9psi and tops out at 11-12 around redline. Im unsure at this point how Im going to crest the 400whp mark I mean at this point Im already there in my mind 8hp isnt a huge amount.

I "could" overspin the blower a bit more if I really wanted to some of the miata guys are turning it to 22krpm. Im at about 19.5k which is around 2k over the recommended limit.

A few friends of mine were asking the same thing and Im just telling everyone the blower/setup is maxed out. Besides overspinning the blower more there really isnt alot I can do, even changing to 100% meth instead of the 75/25 mixture Im on now I dont think it will make much of a difference.

Ive entertaining the idea of "other" PD style superchargers as possible future plans.

Why not run the big meth injection stage starting at 4500rpm to get the bulk of your old tune/mid range back? Leave the small/first stage as is. So you only lose roughly 1500rpms down low of what you had, which is a fine trade off to get that power moved to up top where you gained currently. I dont see any reason why you had to sacrifice current performance from 3500-6500 rpm.
