With the scope of the turbo system itself, we found it very, very difficult to throw in development time for the airbox and have it be released along with the turbo system. As it stood, our turbo system already required a ridiculous number of custom components to make it what it is..... stuff never before seen on an S2K turbo system. PTUNING likes building top notch products and to do so we need to invest the time to do it right. For those interested in this option, the wait will be worth it.

In regards to building a CAI for a turbo, we prefer using a large airbox with a shorter, large intake tube to feed the turbo and have ducting feeding the airbox. Some set-ups that run a smaller size intake tube that's routed a very long distance to make it a true CAI will often loose airflow efficiency in the name of cooler intake temps - just my 2 cents.

The other thing too that everyone should consider is that we are a VERY small shop here. We only have 3 techs that work in the back. But don't worry, we will pursue this.

 

VERY small shop that produces the VERY best turbo kit (arguably) for an s2000.
Now make it better so i will buy one instead of my SOS sc in a few months! lol

Just got back from a local carshow. With the help of the "extremely tidy" PTuning kit I won best engine bay. The "extremely tidy" comment came from a judge and shop owner.
