Great pictures too!
If you don't mind me asking.. what did you use to measure oil temps and where was it measured from?

Toan, are there any incentives for someone wanting to switch from a Full-Race kit to yours
Thanks again for your continued support.

For those that have asked, we do not use an oil relocation block with our set-up. For Jason's car we welded an 1/8" npt bung near the bottom of his oil pan a few inches back from the oil drain plug. The oil sitting in the pan should be a very good indicator of the average oil temps circulating through the engine. He uses an SPA oil/water temp gauge to measure temps.

Was his oil temp sensor in the pan also? If his was on the oil filter then his oil temp is very similar to yours.

Man that recirculating dump takes more HP then I expected but I hate open dump too much
For comparisons sake, Jason's car with the recirc'd dump tube and dual exhaust should have been closer to only 10whp shy of Allan's DTA WG setup and single exhaust system. Our dyno's tach input (in the process of being replaced) started flaking out during the subsequent pulls. Jason's 13 psi pull should have been around 392-393whp had the dyno continued to graph until redline.

So, a 10whp loss on a 400whp tune running our recirculated dump tube and dual exhaust system is actually not too shabby.

I wonder how that new motor mount will hold up to the heat overtime.
Between the SS Tial V-Band turbine housing (radiates far less heat than a cast iron housing), the large distance to the motor mount, and our soon to be completed stainless steel motor mount heat shield, I can say that this should definitely not be an issue.

I am sure you mean 393whp

Jason, great vid. I managed to filter out the wind noise and just concentrate on the vid itself. It was awesome to see your S2K pass lap traffic so easily. I wish I could have stayed to watch all the runs, but I had to get a few karting sessions in at SPK.

BTW, those watching the vid, Jason was not slotted into a NASA run group that allowed open passing without a wave by, otherwise I think he would have been able to pass the slower traffic much more quickly.

All in all Jason's car performed extremely well on track and we definitely look forward to gathering future track data from his S2K. Maybe we can do a race gas tune in the future too.

Thanks. I edited out a few of the warm up laps. You'll see in part 1 (already posted) of the video that I was more cautious in certain turns than part 2 (now posted). Right before I went out we were told there was fluids on track between turn 10 and turn 6, which is basically 70% of the track. They weren't sure oil, coolant, or water. I think it was just water because the few places I saw fluid it had dried up in some time.

Also, I had to include the initial start of that session because that black porsche was finally forced to give me the point by.

At the end of the day I was recommended to be bumped up a class. Overall a very good weekend. I learned a lot, had fun, and drove the car home in one piece.

Thanks so much Toan for answering my questions, even the annoying ones.

Lots of to Ptuning for such a great kit and I WILL have one sooner or later!
