Whats your thoughts ppl?
Judging by the chart from garret I'd say yes. I do not know why you would want to though, the 3076 spool up and responce time is quite good already.

In search of slightly quicker Spool / Response and knowing that I would never want more then 500 whp for a track driven car. You are right though, 3076 is definitely a great sized turbo and probably the best choice. The Gen2 GTX3071 just has me curious....But It's going to be exciting to see how these Gen2 GTX3076 perform.

I believe that is crank hp that they are rated to, not to the wheels.

I have a feeling the 3071 will have issues holding/building power up top. Id lean towards the 3076 reguardless.

Take my advice, stick with what works. Do not bother wasting time and money trying this and trying that. I learned my lesson with a gtx3576 and the SOS ts maxx kit.

Not sure for track use, King would be the best to ask but on the street, my gtx3076 was amazing. Light to light spool was great. I could see the 3576 being a viable option. Its already proven to perform on the ptuning kit.

What type of engine build is recommended to get to the higher numbers? Is it the basic pistons, rods, headgasket, studs/bolts? It may be time for me to get rid of the Supra for a 4 door and go to an s2k w/fi.

What are your power goals? The stock s2k block has been proven to hold 600+whp.
