I'm gonna wait till I get under there and see what happened.
My dump tube cracked not long after installing everything. Luckily I caught it early and had it welded up. Haven't had an issue since.

Is your dump tube to atmosphere?

Yeah, it's to atmosphere. I wish it had some sort of support brace on it. It's not really that long or heavy so I didn't think it needed it.

Was your dump tube contacting the down pipe, or the frame rail at all? Either could cause it to crack.

Once you have a nice quality weld on it, make sure there's wiggle room so the dump tube isn't touching anything and it will be fine. There's no need for bracing, the thing hardly weighs anything at all. The issue is either the dump tube contacting something, or a shitty weld.

There was a good amount of space in there for it. It wasn't touching anything. I should have time today to get the car in the air. I'll post some pictures. I don't know what a bad weld looks like, hopefully someone can tell by the pics.

I assume that means bad weld. I'll shoot em an email. I would like to get a couple more months of driving before it goes away for the winter.
