Ptuning turbo kit group buy!
Rough estimate to get an S2000 successfully boosted = $10k with self installed and not hiring bozo shops.
I may just hold off on boosting my S2000 and just build a ridiculously fast civic hatchback. I'm seeing simple H22 turbo builds running 11's with the same budget. They usually run ebay turbo builds, self-tuned, and overall self-built. If their motor blows, their engine replacement is much cheaper than the price of an F20 F22. On top of that, the F20 F22 cannot be rebuilt in a home garage.
Civic: lightweight + cheap parts.
S2000: Medium weight + expensive parts.
Perhaps an S2000 enthusiast will convince me to move forward with boosting my s2000. I'm open to opinions.

And quality parts beat eBay parts hands down.
Correct me if I am wrong, home built F20c F22c is not recommended? With the price and rarity increasing, I have been looking towards civics because of availability and friendly cheap prices.
From our brief discussion the other day, they expect the groupbuy to be similar or identical to the one from earlier. You can see if post below to get a feel of what to expect.
