it's part of the factory air pump setup, just cold start emissions related stuff. the block off plate just lets you remove the parts off of the manifold, the rest of the air pump stuff is up front near the driver's side headlight. the AEM doesn't even trigger it so it's all useless parts once you have an AEM.

you can pull the air pump and the kpro system will not get upset. you wont throw any codes or anything.

as for the IAC stuff, i dont know - i havent tried!
