Thumbs up Question about AEM & Greddy Profec B Boost ctrl

Hey, I would like to have a Tunes for when I am spraying Meth, and when I am not spraying Meth, as well as have the ability to have a High and low Boost levels whenever I feel like it. I guess I wont be able to control boost by using the Greddy Profec Spec B II if I use the AEM Boost control solenoid to control boost via MPH, or can I ?

ur gonna run aem ems right? well use the nitrous map for your meth map. soooo, the regular map will be tuned for both low and high boost, and then when the meth is armed and engaged, aem will switch to nitrous map/meth map and then you will have different ing/fuel settings for that.

low and hi boost tune with aem is all on one map. just tuned at different load points.

ok so basically I can still use my Greddy Boost controller and still have the AEM control boost via MPH.

I dont want 18psi in 1st gear, I will just spin all the way to hell, but I do want the ability to have that while still having the ability to just let the PSI run off the W/G spring if I turn off the Boost controller

I am having a hard time describing what I am trying to get answered, sorry

yeah you are. hmmmm, so you want:

spring, low, high boost, boost by mph, and hi boost + meth tune?

ok, that might be a bit much. all that minus the spring boost can def be done. wait, you will control boost via the aem ems, you can have whatever boost you want. u just tell it, and bam, it aims for it.

worst case you lose the spring boost, but have low boost set near it so who cares

Ok thats fine, how do I control boost then via the AEM EMS, if I have a Greddy Boost controller?

Sorry Im a re-taard

F--- It, maybe Ill just do high and low boost, high being with the METH, and call it a day and not use the Greddy Profec Spec b

seems much simpler

scrap the profec. aem can control a wastegate solenoid that will control boost. thats how it does boost by mph.

sell the profec. you will have with aem controling boost, LOW, HIGH, and HIGH + METH.

joey i know what your talking about!!

my tuner did the samething for me. but instead of setting a fixed about of boost per gear he set a different amount of boost at MPH.

up to 58mph i can't make more then 15lbs of boost. after that speed i can make more boost. and yes you can set the aem ems to be that way.
