Default Question about AEM Wideband Installation

Everything is set, i just need to find a place to get that giant jack plug through the firewall so i can connect it to the sensor. do i have to drill a hole somewhere or is there an open 1.05" spot that it will fit through?

Also, I'm having a O2 Bung Welded in the test pipe next week, any suggestions on where to have it installed at?

Thanks guys.

There is a perfect place down by your clutch pedal, thats where I routed mine, you can pop out the rubber grommet thin and it will fit right in

I used a wire coat hanger, duct tape, and silicone spray lube. Just duct tape it up so that you don't put any strain on the wires connecting to the connector. It slides in really nice using silcone spray.

I am using a 1052 with built-in UEGO. Per AEM instructions, it says to replace the OEM primary O2 (forward most). It may be different for your setup though.

I put the sensor right before the HFC substrate material. It is in the spot right after where it connects to the downpipe, and right before the substrate its like a 2 inch area

Placed on mine on the header a few inches before the cat...ran the wire up through the wheel well ( can't see it ) behind the battery, drilled a hole in the firewall next to where the battery would be ran it through and hinged the plastic panel where your obd2 input is...and now the gauge is mounted on the plastic panel and swings up and down when I wish it to so I can see the gauge or hide it also I used some outdoor caulking around the wire through the firewall hole keep out any dirt or water.
