Nope. Only to front of motor. All that weight hangs off of front of motor...

Is this your next quest?

well, im trying to buy the house i am currently renting so i sold my turbo set and am back to 100% stock. and i wouldnt want to go buck wild next time, but im thinking after i get my house squared away that im gonna do the full aftercooled comptech kit. depends on how much dough i have to put down on the loan, monthly payments, etc.

but yes, something like this. probably in jan or march of next year.

thanks for the answer bro.

you do have to bend a 1" section of the crossmember to accomodate the blower oil return line though.

^cool. not an issue for me though. i dont have the giant crossmember in my car. i removed it and made a removable one that is about 5 times stronger out of 1.5"x1.5" stainless 1/8" thick square-stock with 1/4" stainless endplates with gussetts. it is mounted with 8 grade 12.9 bolts that run through the frame rails.

the main reason for doing that was so i could pull the engine and trans in one peice through the front of the car without haveing to touch or remove anything else. and it works like a champ! that, and while it may have added about 10 more lbs, it is far supior in terms of strength when compared to the sheet meta,l pinch welded oem one. mine will protect the frame from moving and more importantly, anything from smashing the the engine into the firewall upon a hard collision. *knock on wood*
