when i try to log onto my computer to the emanage it wont connect is it because the engine is off, but i cant start my engine yet cause its not done yet. i was just wondering cause i bout the emanage second hand and i had to wire it. please help

 

It sounds like you need to finish wiring it before you can go any further.

The e-manage has to be powered up before it will communicate. Moving to FI as well, I can assume that you are not NA with your car.

 

If there is power to the E-manage you should be able to connect to it. I powered mine up on the bench before it went anywhere near my car.

 

I wanted to do alittle tuning after the intial tuneing and i had the same problem. the emanage wouldnt connect to the laptop. I tried a different laptop (installed software etc..) and it worked. go figure...
