a BOV isn't included b/c contrary to popular belief, it's not needed on every car...especially on the S2000 since there's not MAF. No BOV = lower retail price also.

I have an RS bov though but i put it on b/c the RS bov is actually quieter and has a cleaner sound than the compressor surge. Don't want to call any unneeded attention before the kit goes carb legal!
I believe that in the state of California, any atmospheric blow off valve is against C.A.R.B. regulations

I always figured they left it out due to the fact that they were trying to get smog legal. To do this with a discharge valve, it would need to be a recirculating type valve. This would cost alot more to R&D and build one for the S2000

^^ yeah you're right, i forgot about that reason as well. A recirculating BOV wouldn't be too much R&D though, since the RS bov allows attachments for recirculating, but parts would drive the cost up a few hundred though.

Well if not coming with a bov is the worst thing this kit has going for it then I'm sold.
It wouldn't be too hard to buy a flange and valve and have it welded before
you installed the kit.

Also S2Kart I really want to see you car get dyno'd. Seems like you have a very nice setup.

From the dyno's I have been seeing, there hasnt been anyone that even hit 300 rwhp.. Mostly between 250 and 290. An inline pro kit will get 350rwhp out of the box with base kit and optional ems and injectors running 9.5psi If you dont believe this then do a search for inline pro kit. there was a thread a while back where a guy had stock everything and BASE inline pro kit with just the AEM EMS and 650cc injectors running 9.5psi and put down 349.xx rwhp. He also posted multiple videos of him laying down consistant 12.2x at 113-114 mph quarter miles.

That is also at 9.5psi..... See the difference? The Greddy out of the box is a little lower boost. But with a BOV, boost controller and a little bit of tunning, I am sure this kit will be close to the same mark

You need to cut costs somewhere so that the masses will gravitate twards this kit

But most smart folks will probably just get a BOV, a boost controller and boost gauge when they order

He said he was running 10psi and a full 3" (sleeper) turbo-back exhaust. His info and video runs are still here. My favorite is the one where he takes down the vette and the shocked track announcer keeps saying "whhhaaaaattt?"

Yeah, definitely a NICE ride! I'd be happy with my car running like that. No need for KILLER street power. The post said 9.5psi and AEM EMS. Didnt mention anything else.. For those of you that are interested here is the link of the thread.
