Default Question about Kpro

I have an AP1 and will be installing kpro along with all the upgraded parts/sensors/valve cover. my question is, if i were to go back to a stock ECU in the future, will all these sensors have to be taken out and replaced with the original or will the stock ECU run fine?

Everything has to be replaced with AP1 OEM sensors for OEM AP1 ECU to work. You are putting AP2 06+ sensors in for the KPro and the AP1 ECU cannot read those. The crank wheel and sensors are different, and the KPro/ 06+ only uses exhaust cam sensor (which is different) and the AP1 ECU uses exhaust and intake cam sensors. It is all very different and NOT interchangeable.

Or....you could run a plug and play standalone that is way better and requires no swapping sensors. Unless you need this to pass emissions.

AEM, Haltech, or Pro EFI

None will pass emissions, but all are PnP (I think Pro EFI might need a harness)
