Dude no chance. No mustang can beat any Honda!!! J/K Seriously i have hurt a couple stangs. But have been trounced by them also. But tell your friend to make sure his SC is up to par. My VTSC was putting down 5psi when it was first installed and turned out the Auger and Pulley Arbor were snapped and bent.

s2k on 5psi is gonna have tough time cutting a 12.8. i think the best stock vortech time is 12.9ish, and thats at 7psi. 5 psi is gonna be down on power, and your gona have to run slicks to even have a chance.

what was the trap on the 12.8 time? i ask becuase it also depends on what kinda race you guys are gonna do. case in point, i ran a 13.2@110 at the track with 2.1 short. a bolt on lsx T/A ran 12.3@110. i ran him on the highway from a 30 roll in 2nd and put 2-3 cars on him to 130. but at the track he kicked my ass.

power/weight/gearing/driver quality. What the race is will also determine. Quater mile you should take him from a dig. Go from a roll it may be a little closer. Take it to the curves he will wipe you if he knows how to drive.

He wont race me from a dig, weve had a competition going on for a while. He hasnt won yet, i beat him by about 3-4 cars stock for stock. Every time i win he comes up with an excuse and every time we are about to race something magically breaks. I want to race from a dig because i think thats the best chance i had but he wont do it, he wont go to the drag strip either. What do you guys think?
Thanks !!
tell your friend he is a ricer. a fast car is a fast car. and a slow car is a slow car.
you car us faster in almost every way if drivers were the same.
lol hes giving you ricer excuses. yes some ricer do own s2ks now.

from a roll he would have better chance. from a dig LOL next time he'll tell u his vtec broke.

300whp in a car as light as an S2k is capable of a whole lot better than low 13s, but of course that would require a real launch on real tires and probably result in a bork diff.

12.89 @ 106.5 mph... Yeah he is a freakin ricer man no joke LOL. His car is nice its setup pretty well, but his mentality is whack! If your going to lose you lose, who cars, but to him losing is the end of the world. I just dont understand the way people are sometimes.

You should handle him easily based on your 12.8 from a dig; closer from a roll.

Personal experience of Mustangs: I have never lost: all at a 20 mph roll. They have all been GT's and I was running 7 psi at that time.

If you want a real race you can always call Sideways.
