Question about turbo s2000
In a very general way I suppose, but there are a lot of variables that can make either set up work for the intended purpose. You will spend more money on managing heat with a turbo car on the track and making it as reliable as it can be though bottom line. If you want the turbo set up to be responsive and predictable so you can run it fast on the road course, you need a smaller properly sized turbo and manifold combo. Heavy boost lag is not your friend in this environment. A supercharger is usually the preferred choice for road course because the power delivery is predictable and smooth, and once the kit is bolted in, it stays together under abuse(especially CT/SOS/VT kits) Heat still needs to be managed but less work and cost and time under the hood to keep it running.
If you have a second car, and like doing freeway pulls on the weekends, big turbo and boost lag, doesn't really matter. Just keep a spare rear end and trans in the garage as a back up.

In my opinion a turbo is always better no matter the situation. For all out straight line power there is no question that turbo is by far better. There no question there. The question is for open lapping evens on a race track and even then a properly built turbo setup will still be far better than a centrifugal supercharger. The key word there is proper turbo setup. Most turbo setups are not proper turbo setups for open lapping sessions on a race track at wide open throttle for 20+minutes. A proper turbo setup for open lapping does not over heat and has a turbo that spools fast and makes good power. It would make way more bottom end power as well as top end power compared to a super charger. If the power/ boost comes on too fast all this can be tuned so that the boost comings in slower if that's what is wanted. Most turbo setups simply is not built to survive for open lapping track days, Where as the typical sos/comptech/ super charger can be bought installed and tracked no problem. Where as for a good high power turbo setup to survive on open lapping need a big oil cooler and a v mount radiator/ intercooler setup to not over heat. You would also need proper engine bay heat shielding to protect the stuff in the engine bay.
