hey yall. question

Im planning out a build for this coming winter. It will be my first turbo build and im thinking about installing it myself. I dont have any first hand knowledge but i love to tinker and no matter what i want to do it right. any thoughts? I know there is a ton of research and builds to go by but im just curious to know how many people have done this and would they do it again.. ect.

IP stage 2
6262 or s363
ID 1000s
340 pump
tial q
aem ems
ect....
looking for 500 pump and eventualy 600 w/meth

I did it myself, and although I had some gurus to run ideas by when it got tough I did have some hiccups.

I'm on my forth turbo and second engine. Not saying these things wouldn't have happened if I had paid to have it done (hmm actually some of them wouldn't have) but I would definitely get experienced help on the tuning.

 

thanks guys. my main concern is the wiring on a couple things and fittings of course. other than that i dont see anything im too scared of.

 

Installing is easy. Mostly just bolting things on. That said, this site has all u need to rewire ur new pump, wire electronic boost controller to aem ems, plumb wastegates to it etc.

Ur plan is coming together.

Change to id2000 injectors and ditch meth and just tune for e85. I love my s363 turbo .

Don't forget a clutch and mac solenoid.
