What's the difference between ID1000s for my00-05 and 06+??? And can the ones for 06+ be used on the older model years with some kind of modification ?

 

if your asking about injectors.. I don't believe there's anything different for any model year... they're all useable... if not... idk what your askin bout...

I see that... owning an 01, hadn't ever looked at 06 on up but as per many of the ad's for parts, they all treated them as more universal, listing them as 00 - 09 usually... after looking more for 06 on up, I see product differences... concept staying the same an all..cool, thanks, didn't know...

 

My id1000's look like the ones on the left and I have a 2008 but also a inlinepro return fuel kit.

The 06+ are pictured and can be modified by ID for 00-05 or do it yourself. I Ended up taking a Dremil and carefully grinding down the plastic housing and then replaced the large o ring with the stock size and fit into thew 00-05 fuel rail perfectly. I wouldn't recommend this mod unless you are proficient with detail Dremil work. I reluctantly did it because I was too impatient to send to ID to have modded.

 

Or you can use an 06+ fuel rail or modify an 00-05 fuel rail
