Question for those in the know.
Hey guy's I just picked up a kings eltm topmount mani to replace my pfab log. Will my precision 39mm wastegate be enough to control a 6266 turbo. Mani is vband so i'll be using the vband .82ar housing. It works just fine with the log and a .63ar gt35. If it will work i'm just gonna cut the 44 flange off of the mani and replace it with my 39 so I don't have to buy a new wastegate. Dump is gonna be super short basically going strait up through the hood. Thoughts or suggestions welcome, thanks. I should add gonna be going for 18-20 psi or as high as I can take it with 93 and 100% methanol injection.
Wastegate priority will make more difference than the size of the gate, for the most part. If the wastegate is in the correct placement you can use a smaller gate, but the norm for a turbo that size would be the standard 44/45/46mm gates. I highly suggest the turbosmart 45mm hypergate. http://cheapturbo.com/store/index.ph...product_id=130

Here's a pic of the manifold. I'm gonna run the dump basically strait up through the hood. Gonna be using 1.75 flared out to 2.25 megaphone style for the dump pipe. My 39mm gate is basically brand new so I hate to have to sell it. I don't want to have to take it all back off if it doesn't do the job though.
