Its pretty safe to say that the s2k is the fastest car ive ever been in. Thats not saying much, because I've never been into the whole racing go fast break the speed limit sort of thing. Mostly because I'm poor and cant afford speeding tickets. This weekend I got to ride in a friends twin turbo supra. Holy shat. Every time he accelerated I felt like I lost my gut and was pushed back into the seat. Hes making ~400hp and I'm not sure what all hes has done to it.

My question is for those who went forced induction, is there a huge difference when driving? I've got I/H/E and I havent felt a huge difference from stock, but its somewhat noticable.

 

although my turbo car isn't done yet, i can safely say yes, it makes big differance.

how much of a differance depends on the kit you run, but if you double or tripple your power, i'm sure you'll be able to feel a substantial differance.

with a mase kit, you can get 400+ hp right out of the box, and i'm sure the s2k doesnt weigh more than a supra. with the same power to weight ratio, i'm sure you can imagine what it'd be like.

I can say you will feel a big difference i am turbo and making 600+ but you dont need that for the S2000 to be fast as Sh*t. trust me you can have plenty of fun with even 300-350 whp and with that power you will be able to hang if not beat your buds supra just significant better power to weight ratio.

Yea dude you would yank the supra a new rearend with just a CTSC on like ~12psi. Judging from the numbers you told us he probly just has a little more boost on it with a decent tune. Those cars can make quite a bit over factory with the stock twins. They ARE the moral equivalent of a boat, but sexy boats at that. 2864lbs > 3417lbs
