Default Question on UR sandwitch plate

So before I try and start my car I want to make sure the oil relocation is right. I know I have the hoses correct because I followed the diagram and that was simple. The only thing I have a question about is which side of the sandwitch plate goes on what. I know the barbs point towards the front of the car but either side of the sandwitch plate is different from one another. On the plate however there is a slit that cuts off one of the corners. In order for the barbs to point forward, this slit is either on the top and is the back corner near the firewall, or on the bottom.

I currently have the slit facing the top near the firewall. I tried priming the turbo and such by pulling the fuel pump fuse out. After priming several times I took the oil feed line off to see if oil would pump through when I prime the car and it does as well as oil reaches the oil filter, so oil does seem to be circulating.

I just want to verify about the sandwitch plate first.

thanks

I was under the impression that the UR kit ports were labeled (IN/OUT)?

The side with the circular gasket should face towards the block. Can you post a pic?
