Default a quick one for you fi guys

soon i will have my S back over here in the UK from the states, i am wondering if the rotora mini 4pot brake kit is good or not, esp for FI,

i currently have stock brakes which are not the greatest but will be refurbed if i dont change

if not what brake set ups are the turbo guys running, i will have stock ap2 v2 wheels (06-07)

yeah they would be but they would need fairly big spacers, stop tech are my first choice but i am worried about having spacers on the front for the bbk and what effect it will have

i know you're going oem look. have you considered getting non-oe rims that are similar to oe but with all aftermarket graphics removed to clear decent brakes but hide the fact there's a bbk there

normal silver wheels with a bbk sprayed black or even silver might work

if you arent gonna be tracking it you could just use stock calipers with some good pads that like a lot of heat with some brembo slotted rotors. Unless you are tracking it you probably wont overheat the stock stuff if you have good components in there ie ( racing pads, slotted rotors )

surely you're missing something there.

even with quality discs, pads and braided lines you can boil standard 4.0 fluid in around 5 minutes..

you need a decent fluid too.

i've used brembo products before and enjoyed the performance, but i'm really excited about trying some of the competitors' products too.

Stock brakes are perfectly fine, the brake pads are the major bottleneck.

cryo treated slotted rotters, stock calipers, braided lines and change fluid to handle the heat - we have many customers running this combo on the track/street and very-very happy with results.
