Default The next step for Comptech'd S2k?

I'm pretty happy with my Comptech /w AC '02, but I'm interested in getting a little more oomph. Is there anything I can do in a state with annual emissions testing? Am I correct in my understanding that AEM EMS will not pass emissions, due to breaking OBD II?

Is the next step perhaps a reinforced diff /w 4.56s? Is there anything else I can do?

which state do you live in? here in Nevada we have smog every year, but all they do is check the OBDII and if it comes up clear,, you'll pass.

I'm running an Emanage Ultimate and it allows you to retain your OBDII.

With an SC you can always just take the belt off for the supercharger, swap your stock ecu and stock injectors in and get inspected then go home and swap back. This is what I am planning on doing.

either do the swap once you go with AEM ems, injectors, pulley or get a k-pro...

Swap on an AP2 pulley and a testpipe, I picked up 24hp from those 2 alone. Once emission testing comes, put the cat back on and you should be good to go.

Just make sure you turn up the pressure on the FPR to compensate for the extra boost and get a wideband or put it on a dyno to make sure everything is still safe!

I got a 9lb pulley and 675cc injectors and an AEM EMS 1012. Gears would be a great upgrade as well too. I plan on upgrading to Hondata K Pro in the future for emissions compliance.
So cliff notes:
-Smaller Pulley
-Upgrade to an EMS
-Gears

You can add 40 to 60 rwhp by going with a well ported head that has oversized valves. No problem with smog or emissions. They won't know.
