Default quick question about turbos

im looking at different turbos and ive been looking for the answer to this but not finding what i need to know. my problem is that my current turbo has the cold side exit pointing straight down toward the bottom of the car, which is what i need. the problem is that alot of the turbos im looking at, have the same cold side exit pointing in different directions which wont work with my setup. (i have the pfab log manifold.) ive been wondering if i can reposition the direciton that cold side exit points? or am i stuck with the direction it is set to?

yea, there are six bolts, 13 mm (at least on mine) and loosening those to move the exit is, I believe, what they refer to as "clocking" the turbo

I remember when I was first starting out and didn't realized they moved either, and was wondering how I would make it work, lol.

The good ol' days.

Lol yeah, I felt really stupid like a noob having to ask that. But every time I've bought a turbo for all my cars in the past, they have always been already set in the correct direction. So I never had that learning experience yet. So I deff appreciate the understanding and non flaming hahaha

Noob!

Sorry, just though this thread was lacking a bit of the usual callousness.

Play on!
