Go buy a five gallon drum of it and head over to your tuner, you'll get your answer ; )

I have basically the same setup, just a GT1 manifold. Stock block/HG, solid line is C16 @17psi, Dotted is 8psi. The 3071r runs out of compressor and had issues holding 17psi from 6.5k to redline, drops to about 14psi.

VP 109 is only 101 motor octane. VP C-16 is 117 motor octane. Big difference.

nice numbers,
i was thinking with vp 109 to push 14 psi,
you had no problems pushing 17 psi, did not blow a hg or anything.

thanks for you input

Race gas does not give you horsepower/tq. Technically it burns slower so you would lose power.

Having race gas allows you to go with a MUCH more aggressive tune therefore turns into horsepower. With 101 octance, or vp109 you'll be able to get a good a mount more

The higher the octance the more power your tuner can get out of it. Try some Q16, its good stuff

No issues with 17psi, i see spikes into the 20's in colder weather as well. Car has made it thru roughly 1,500 hard driven miles on C16 at that power level with no issues. Its all in the tune though.
