Default RC injectors

hi everyone, new to the forum but far from new to these s2ks. right now im in the middle of a turbo project on a 00. obviously all kinds of things have changed on this poor little car (its all kinds of confused at the moment with the tuning going on) and the addition of these RC injectors has it (me?) even more confused.
at first it was the spacing issue with the taller injectors combined with the aem fuel rail. after a few minutes of head scratching i managed to get it properly fit, even better than the aem rail with the stock injectors. the real issue is the fact that after having gotten everything tightened up the electrical connectors will not plug in.

now one might say "why didnt you look at the connectors first?" well, the reason they dont fit is because of the "alignment pins", or what im going to call them. the factory injectors have the alignment pin offset to the right just a little when looking at the top of the injector, making the difference hardly noticeable. the RC injectors (ordered for this specific year/make/model) have the alignment pin directly in the center. aside from this alignment pin the connectors are the same.

i had tried calling the manufacturer and to no surprise they are closed until the 2nd of next year. seems like so far away, huh? well i was wondering if anyone had any type of experience with this brand of injectors and had any similar problems. i really need to get this car back together so i can head forward with the tuning. ive considered cutting the alignment pins off, but with them being a rather pricey addition to the project im not about to hack into them when its possible they may need to be returned.

sorry for the long read, but im kind of at a stand still here and time is running out :/ any help is greatly appreciated.

You'll need to get some adapter clips for the injectors. I'm sure anyone who sells the injectors sells the clips. Try ebay, or wherever you bought them. Should be easy to find. On a different note, RC injectors are not the best, you're not gonna get them running silky smooth, especially not at idle. When your ready to upgrade get the injector dynamics 1000cc. They are probably hands down the best you can buy. Good luck on your build. In the future may want to post these type of questions in the Forced Induction forum, some incredibly knowledgeable people in there, they will always steer you in the right direction.

good to know, thanks. i appreciate your input and i have already read a large majority of the forced induction forum as well as a "few" other forums. im doing as much homework as possible and surprised to find this about the RC brand. i hadnt really found any bad remarks about them.

There not bad, there just not the best. The InjectorDynamics idle and start better than stock, and are super easy to tune. RC's will work just fine, but the id's are just a step above. Myself and a large majority of the FI crowd on here run them, and they are really superb. The RC's seem to be okay as long as you stay at or below the 650cc range, above that they are gonna be a pain in the ass. Best to go with what your tuner recommends and is comfortable with though. The best injector in the world doesn't meen spit if the tuner can't work with it. Glad I could help. PS look up Evans Tuning, Realstreet, Fullblown, or T1. They are the best in the business for FI parts.

i have a set of plug n play clips for an evo that i wont ever use. You could easily cut the connector and solder them in. On a side note what size injectors are these, as 1000cc or bigger will require a resistor box.
