the older bosch type injectors are all the same (RC, precision, denso, rochester and so on). out cars require a saturated injector. There old injectors only go up to rc750cc. Anything higher and they are going to be peak and hold. With peack and hold injectors you need to wire up a resistor box. Also with the older bosch type injectors when you go above 1000cc they are harder to tune and harder to idel correctely. A injector driver will help. These are old technology injectors

The newer injectoers like the ID and FIC high impeadency saturated 1000cc/1600cc and 2000cc injectors are much better then the older bosch type injectors. There will all idel like stock and work like stock.

but to answer you question your rc 550's or 750s will work fine. Its just the newer type saturated big 1000cc+ injectors are better and will allow you to grow in the future.

I ask the very same question about deautschworks injectors to several very knowledgeable people including several respected tuners and they all said the same thing. Don't waste your money on the other shit buy the Id1000's. So I did.

btw im na just looking for a decent injector to run with some cams so i dont necessarily need id 1000's but DECEPTION claims these are junk. i wish he would clarify why he thinks this. i understand ID's may be better but if the RC's will do the job then theres really no need to spend the extra 200 bucks to run a huge injector i will never take advantage of. thanks for everyones input. keep it coming!!!

you will have better luck selling the ID1000's compared to the guy selling the RC's CHEAP if you ever need to sell them. (do it once) but RC's were fine in my CRX

If your gonna be all motor even rc650 is overkill. How mich power na do u think your gonna make? Rc550 is overkill too. Enough injector for like 350whp lol.

I ran rc650 and minus a hiccup hear or there they were decent. Idle was a bit harder to tune then on my new Bosch 900's. But otherwise they were ok.

when i sold my rc550's I had to basically give them away. Id's will always sell for $400 used, if you buy Rc's you'll be upgrading later so just get the id1000's

I don't think getting too big of an injector is necessarily a bad thing. As long as the injectors idle smooth and run fine, I don't see an issue. The spray pattern wont be as nice as the ID injectors, but I don't think it'll be an issue. Now if he was thinking of getting bigger RC injectors and being NA, that'd probably be an issue.

Speaking of which, I'm currently NA and running ID2000s lol. They run great and I'd recommend it if you want baller status.

curious as to why you have id2000's and your na? seems a bit overkill

They run fine and I don't need to mess with my tune. I could swap back to a set of stock injectors, but I'd need to retune it for 91 octane instead of E85 currently in the tank. The biggest reason is that they just run great. It does idle a little rich, but thats it. No hiccups or anything.

I'll be putting the turbo back on, but when I have funds available to afford fixing breaking stuff.
