No, they aren't junk at all.

My cars old setup ran 1000cc RC Injectors, idled and started like stock regardless of temperature, got 23mpg+ on the highway, and made 700+whp

That's all in the tuner though.

That said, with the "new" injector selection out there, I don't know why one would choose RC unless you just had them laying around.

i was thinking of possibly going with a supercharger in the future..... the 550's should be good up to 350 hp (8ish psi) or possibly a little more? 400hp (10-12ish psi)? thanks for all the input!!!!

rc's are ok. but like everyone is saying there are better injector out there now a day. with these older style injectors and the larger sizes, idle can be a bit rough, especially on pump gas because those larger injectors don't work too great at the low end of the pulse width spectrum.

i've worked with id 1000's on pump gas and they can idle comfortably at stoich. i have the id 1000's on my all motor setup lol but that's because i'm running e85.

so to your answer your question, if you're on pump gas and you already have those rc 550's just use them. if you haven't bought injectors yet, i'd look into the newer bosch injectors.

When I had rc650 on 10 psi I was at 80% dc. I would not use a 550 if I was u.

so i could expect to max out around 7-8 psi on a stock vortech/comptech kit? its a not e question of if ill use them, i am using them now, put em on yesterday. just wondering what hp or psi level they would be expected to max out at if i ever get a s/c. i thought running injectors up to 80-85% dc is fine but would be the max you really want to go? my stock injectors saw 95% dc before i swapped injectors. thanks
