In recent event, my Vortech SC that I had for almost 6 yrs was destroyed about 3 months ago. To give little history on this SC, it was installed in 2002, and then it developed ball bearing issue just last year. So earlier this year, I sent it to Vortech to have it re-conditioned. WOW! glad to hear its all fixed up and running fine!!! I definitely may have to invest in a magnetic drain bolt. props to vortech for their customer service as well. post those pics up when u get a chance!

you are very lucky! Now if it was my setup, my motor would have been toast

Thats insane that the impeller ate itself... the tech must not have set the bearings up correctly.

Congrats on getting the car up and running again!

But at least I got your vortech uninstalled just on time for vortech to honor the warranty

I wonder if Vortech would have paid for the motor if it was the supercharger that caused the damage. THAT would have been customer service.
