Default resistors for injectors

My friend used resistors from radioshack. He has 550cc injectors, and I want to use the same thing instead of buying a honda resistor box. Does it matter what size resistors I buy?, I am using 880cc injectors.
Also, i bought a turbo kit that was used with a log manifold and 550 injectors. Everything else remains the same with the kit from before with a aem ems 1502u, do I need to retune it? I know I should but i want to turbo it as is on 8psi for about a month or two, than upgrade my exhaust and get a boost controller and retune for high numbers.

for your first question.... It does matter what size resistors you buy very much. What you will need is 10ohm, 10 watt resistors. radio shack sells them for less then 4$ make sure you solder them.

2nd question: If you are using a map that is tuned for 550cc injectors and you are running 880cc injectors then they car is going to be dumping massive amounts of fuel and most likely it wont even idle, let alone be able to drive the car. You will 100% need to get tuned before you can even think about driving the car. Hope this helps.

If the only thing that is going to be different is fuel injector size, you can adjust your fueling maps based on injector size. Really depends how much you know about the EMS unit. If you are only switching injectors you should be able to scale down the fuel adjustments. But we need to know a little more. What was the previous map tuned for as far as boost pressure levels?

the boost level was 8 psi, everything else other than injectors and manifold is remaining the same
