Default Rev hard or Inline Pro

Im very interested in getting a turbo kit for the s2k decided to keep the car . I just had a couple questions for those of you who have either kit. How did you pass emissions with your turbo kit? What are the main differences between the 2 kits? Im planning on running the kit @6psi for awhile untill I get aem standalone. I was thinking that I could run with a vafc 2 for the time being untill I got money for the aem. Also what kind of whp can I expect with the kits I've seen rev hard doing 298whp @6psi. Also the reliability of both kits and what modifications need to be done to install the rev hard kit. Here are the prices im getting for the 2 kits.

Rev Hard $3300

Inline Pro $3799

Please if you can help answer these questions that would be of great help. I have done some research on both. All help is appreciated. Thanks Mo.

VAFC wont work!

You could use a boost dependant regulator like the vortech etc.. BUT I would just pay the cash and get the EMS and while your at it run 8 LBS or so just to make you happy.

I would probably get the inline kit. Its cleaner and has shown better HP.

I would get an inlinepro kit with some real engine management. Just do it right the first time around, you can get an EMS at a pretty good price from Automotivespeed (Rashed).

The revhard has a 35mm wastgate as opposed to a 38mm on the inline
-2.5 inch downpipe vs 3 inch on the inline
-tried and true fitment on the inline pro kit.

the emissions dept. wont be able to read your computer if you have an AEM. in some states, if that happens you automatically fail. however, my friend had an aem and this happened, the emissions guy said he was gonna set it up for the sniffer test instead; he tested it and my buddy passed. so if they let you do a sniffer test instead of the traditional OBD2 test, you might be able to pass.

change out to the stock ECU for the testing. Just drive very nicly, NO boosting and you should be fine.

If your really anal about it, make your BOV stay open until you get the AEM EMS back in
