Default revhard manifold bolt question

I got some major boost leakage last night.. looked around and noticed 1 of the 4 bolts that hold the turbo onto the manifold is gone, and a second one is very loose.

they are the two that are closest to the front of the motor

Need to fix this asap & will only have limited access to another vehicle after work for buying bolts & whatever else

Can you get in there with one of those stubby ratcheting gear wrenches?

Or am I going to have to remove the manifold etc? I have a complete tool set otherwise, any tips?

thanks

A normal 12mm wrench should get to the front 2 bolts

i wish.. it turned out to be a real PIA.
I was able to get the bolt closest to the engine on using a really short 17mm open wrench. Had to have my friend hold the wrench on the bolt from under the car while I actually turned the wrench from the top of the motor.

The bolt that was loose is stuck between the oil feed flange & the rest of the turbo, it aint moving unless we take everything off the car.

Some im still leaking boost, but its not as bad. Can hit a full 9psi, but it gets harder to do so in the higher gears.

Im going to be taking everything off next week & using ARP studs/bolts all around, and then tack weld the connections just to be safe. I think my 3" DP is the cause, it needs a flex section. I never had a single bolt back out in 7 months when the 2.5" DP was on the car.

I welded in a flex joint and a braket to bolt the DP to the block also and have had no trouble.

Definitely get a flex welded in. You might want to consider stage 8 locking fasteners for the turbo as well. They're about 30 bucks and you'll never have to worry about it again.

I have a flex, and the downpipe is bolted to my block and i STILL had the same problem with my RevHard manifold w/ARP studs and nuts.

I just routinely check them and keep them tightened. Eventually ill get the nuts drilled so i can just run safety wire through them.
