loaded up the s2k with all the parts and took them to a friends place where he has a nice spacious garage.

And so it begins....

got the fender, hood, and bumper off. assessing the situation and putting together the to do list. and boy is it long!

started pulling out old useless stuff. lol

took the battery out and put it in the trunk. since i have the spoon top and the trunk isnt readily accessible, i decided to extend some jumper points to a better spot. decided that behind the passenger side seat was a good spot.

the fuse box relocation to the fender well was a huge job. took my bro so much longer than we expected, but we had to make sure it was done correctly. worth the effort tho. still need to tie up a few loose ends on it and put in my power distribution block.

test fitting the manifold. and the arp manifold bolts.

got the intercooler mounted in.

got the valve cover and timing chain cover off. gonna take them to get the bungs welded in for the catch can and oil return lines. got the manifold, down pipe, and test pipe in. mocked up the charge pipes as well. also, the oil filter relocation is in. just need the correct hardware to mount the base to the cross member.

my last peek at her before i left last night.

....more to come later this week..... stay tuned~!

have you test fit the J's racing bumper with the intercooler? Are you going to have to cut a lot out?

the previous owner of the bumper already had it cut to fit an intercooler. the middle section that goes back to the radiator was cut out.
