I take it that's the FRP version. Glad to know I only would have to cut the top part of the under tray. Would you happen to know if any was cut from the vertical parts of the opening?

EDIT: nevermind, yes the vertical parts had to be cut as well from looking at a fresh bumper.

its actually carbon.
verticle and the top had to be cut.

So the carbon is open like that to where you can seperate the top and the bottom? I see the lower part goes to like under the radiator support, but the top is cut. Seems weird there is all that open space between the top and bottom halves of the under tray.

Sorry to get off topic here, but I am really thinking about doing this front end and I will never drive the car without boost so intercooler friendly is a must.

yes it is. its all one piece of carbon that is folded over in a "U" shape. so on my bumper, i have cut out the upper part of one side of the "U".

got the BOV in on friday.



got quite a bit done over the weekend between work. got the trunk all finished and buttoned up with the battery relocation.





got the ap2 retainers, keepers, and cotters put in the head.



got the ID1000's installed along with the FB340 fuel pump.



timing chain cover and valve cover came back with new bungs welded in. got them installed back on the car.




stay tuned for some more updates this week. im trying to get this thing on the road asap!
