Default the road to turbo

my attempts to make a top mount love fab mini-me copy in steel because stainless tends to crack and by using steel i dont really need to backpurge argon which is super duper expensive.
the gaps between the pipes ensure that there is complete penetration in the scheduel 40 pipe.
i also plan on getting it coated after its all done.

here's some more! finished mock but i need to revise the #4 runner because there isnt sufficient clearance for the down pipe to clear the frame

one thing is as far as the wastegate tube goes, im thinking of putting it under all 4 runners despite the nice "star" that forms at the merging of the 4 runners. i figured it would be no worse than a log manifold such as the inlinepro where the wastegate sits above the so called "collector" area.
any opinions on this? why i shouldnt do this? my view is just packaging. im not aiming to make high flow numbers with this. if it flows as much as a log i would be happy!

For not using a jig, that's pretty good! I'll be making my own stainless equal length tubular over the summer after I fabricate the jig. Have you considered using a pre welded collector? Where did you get your exhaust flange from?

thanks!
i thought about using a pre-welded collector but this was kind of something i just wanted to try and wanted to keep cost low. so far i've only spent about $100.00. the flange i got from ebay its steel and its only 3/8" mild but im sure if you email them and ask they can make it in 1/2" stainless. but the steel flange was just under 50bucks shipped.
the 8 1-1/2 sch.40 steel elbows and straight piece was about 50 also. i have a t3 flange laying around and im still undecided about which wastegate to use.
