Default Running lean on hot start.. HELP

Hey guys,
I have noticed since its gotten hot again that I ran extremely lean like it would peg out full lean after a few seconds or running on my A/F gauge on hot starts. I searched and found THIS THREAD and used those numbers on my Start Extra vs. Temp and my Start Extra Decay tables. It is better but about half the time still goes lean into the 16's and sometimes bumps into the low 17's!
It is on idle only and as soon as i drive off the car maintains a safe A/F. I just hate that it is running so lean on hot starts possible hurting the motor!

Any help or recommendations would be fantastic!
Thanks,
Zane

check your IAT correction table vs fuel. and what are your iats on these hot starts? i bet your in the 150-170 range on iats. you could bump the correction a smidge to fix this.

are you running o2 fb at idle? cause if you were this wouldnt be an issue

Forgive me as I am no AEM/ tuning wiz so bare with me.... What is o2 fb?

I am honestly unfamiliar with how to get my logged information on any vital(A/F, oil pressure, AIT, etc)

I am a CS major and yet the aem software and tuning is foreign to me.
I am willing to learn and learn quickly Ive just never been shown how or really tried as I am/was afraid to mess anything up that could cost me big money!
Hah!

Your not going to hurt the motor at idle with 16-17 afr but it might idle like crap. There is no load on the engine at idle and it only needs enough fuel to stay running. Setup your o2 feedback and your problem should for the most part go away.
