Default Running straight off internal wastegate

Okay. I like to open her up every ONCE in awhile (uphill on-ramp to the highway ) . When I went through my driving logs I had one spot of knock that was 2.5 volts. I know that is a really bad thing to have happen, but should I just set vtec to engage at that time (believe it occurs around 6500) and just add some additional fuel? I have the log if anyone wants to look at it. It's currently just running of the internal waste-gate @ 8 psi. Is this REALLY a big deal? I do have an electronic boost controller @ home, but my soldering skills are non-existent. And I have no idea where the 12v wire is for the cigarette lighter... Any advice would be great.

Thanks guys,

-Josh

Im not sure where to start here. Please don't go messing with your tune. Who did the initial tune for you?

EBC's aren't hard to wire.

Post your current setup.

Ok, 2.4 volts is not a big deal for knock. Did u do tune or a pro?

There is a 12 volt accessory under dash on drivers side and under passenger side. Also the fuse box is under the hood and theres some more there. Def practice soldering as crimping is for hacks. I hate crimps!!!!

Don't go raising boost on ur own since ur not much for tuning. I say this not to be mean but to prevent ur motor from blowing.

Good luck.

I've had A LOT going on the last couple of weeks. I'm sorry that I didn't reply any sooner.

What I have really isn't all that complicated. What I have is a Laskey built f20c 9.6:1 engine. Your basic greddy kit (8psi) -the e-manage blue. Replaced that with the Aem 1052. And the wideband sensor w/gauge. There really isn't anything else done to it. A lot of potential . I looked closer at the log I ran created that night. The car was already warmed up, etc. Air temp of around 60 degrees.

The facts from the log are:

RPM 5000-5500
Ign timing of 14>13 fell to 13 at that time
02 was kinda high 13.78
Knock #1volts was 2.461
Knock #1 (I am most concerned about) 0.3125. That is the only time I have ever seen this...
If you want a copy of the log to look yourself at what is happening let me know.
And yes the foot was on the floor A lame pic of the setup, but its all I have right now.
