So howcome with the water meth you run more boost on the stock injectors? I thought they just maxed out at a certain hp more since they couldn't supply enough fuel?
The injection picks up where they leave off. I run a 550cc nozzle, its effectively like running a 5th injector, but better since I also get detonation suppressant and cooling from it. Its a rather ingenious technology which was developed back in WW2 for high hp fighter aircraft.

Hmm I will probably wind up getting a used AEM EMS at some point to be a little more safe. That is if I ever can get it to run correctly first.

he also is on stock ignition timing, so near 28 degrees peak timing while still at 9psi. by comparo, i approx 8 less then that at peak. ehh, i just dont trust it.

i know u have been doing it for quite awhile so i just sound like everyother hater, but i personally wouldnt trust it as i had that kinda setup about 7years ago on a different car and that cars rising rate fpr failed and i cooked the motor.

i also couldnt get it properly dialed in. i swore from then on, boost means standalone, and i did just that.

anywho, theres nothing my standalone cant do that your stock setup can, well besides pass emmissions, but florida doesnt have it, so what do i care?
Yeah, i'd say make sure your fpr is good lol, anything can break, even an EMS can fail and lose your motor. I don't go out of my way to preach my set up, it works pretty well for what it is for me at this level, I ran it at 10psi for a wile but it was relying on the injection too much and it wasn't delivering safely so I took it down a step. If you have a good tuner and good money, a full ems is the way to go. I also have to take smog and I also toasted a motor from experimenting with an FIC and some tuner other then myself, that was a bad experience and told myself I wouldn't go down that road again.

BTW camuman, thanks again for the tire find, I ordered a set and am in the process of having my wheels widened at weldcraft. Cant wait to get them back. 295's with a 11.5" wheel will be a nice twin black patch

Yeah its the way to go for big power as long as you have a trusted tuner that knows our car. I don't have one in my area.

Yeah I am pretty near Evans tuning which seems to be one of the best.

Holy crap your going to run a 295 tire? I wanna see that when they are on. Really been wanting some nice wide tires. Unfortunately my rear 8" wheel doesn't allow that lol.

Ok cool. Gonna place the order there now. Worst case scenario it does what mine does but prefer it to be mechanical over electrical anyways.
there is a guy selling a new BLOX missing link for under 25 dollars in the for sale section.

Ok so installed the Greddy oil filter block adapter piece. Bolted everything back up and no oil leaks that I can see yet.

However there was tons of smoke coming out of the exhaust now. Looked to be a whitish smoke. It lessened as the car warmed up but as soon as I would hit the gas when parked would billow out a puff of smoke and go away as the revs went up. Would smoke as it decelled a bit too. Could the dripping oil have made it into the exhaust some how? Smoke smells kind of like gas but hard to tell. Startup was tons of smoke.
