Ok so installed the Greddy oil filter block adapter piece. Bolted everything back up and no oil leaks that I can see yet.

However there was tons of smoke coming out of the exhaust now. Looked to be a whitish smoke. It lessened as the car warmed up but as soon as I would hit the gas when parked would billow out a puff of smoke and go away as the revs went up. Would smoke as it decelled a bit too. Could the dripping oil have made it into the exhaust some how? Smoke smells kind of like gas but hard to tell. Startup was tons of smoke.
hmm. Whats the condition of your oil look like? Extra thin? not the usual color? smell like gas a bit?

When you rev the motor do you see vapor coming out of the front valve cover breather filter?

Oil is very new and looks the same. Smoke smells like regular test pipe smell from what I can tell.
No vapors coming from valve cover breather filter.

I started it up again and no smoke at first then after maybe 30 seconds it started up a little bit. Looks to disappear quickly but started my civic up and no condensation or anything like that. My car has been sitting for almost a week but never noticed this before.

Ok well that’s good news. What you may have is some leaking valve seals. If so, the oil will drip down into your combustion chamber and build up more so in a weeks time then just one day and hence the bigger display your not use to. If you drive it everyday it never gets a chance to build up in one grand display. This is my guess of the problem with what you’re describing anyway. If it is valve seals, this is the symptoms they can exhibit. Worn valve guides are sometimes related or paired with the seal problem. If its not too bad on a normal daily basis I wouldn’t worry about it much, eventually they will need to be replaced if your giving off a smoke show with every down shift.

Ok maybe. I'll take it for a spin in a few as I haven't put it under any load yet or anything since sitting so I'll see what it does.

Seems to be much better now so hopefully was just from sitting for a little while or something. It's cold and rainy out right now so hopefully it will be nice and warmer out tomorrow and see if it still does it or not.

Yeah you probably need some valve seals is all. Pretty typical problem on ap1's

It might have just been condensation idk. After driving for a while looked just like whispy condensation coming out idk. I'll see what it does tomorrow. But yeah might need some who knows. If it's only a very small amount of smoke I don't care really.

Blue smoke is oil. If its severe enough you will see oil residue on your plugs. If they are leaking it probably isn't bad enough to warrant any action. Are you still running a cat?

Test pipe. Smoke looks white. My bumper is all stained but I think that is from test pipe not from leaking oil. Maybe a combo who knows. Really hard to tell what color it is though. My last car I thought it was blue and turned out to be a busted head gasket and was definitely water/coolant.

Wipe down the back of you car with a white towel and detailer. If it is medium to light brown it is burnt fuel.
