I'd just return it, and then plug that other "niblet" on intake, your likely still losing boost. Then your good to go, but be sure and check that your afrs are safe, 12. -12.5

You think the piece from the link i posted would be a waste on 9 lbs?
Performance wise it doesnt matter what boost your at with an SC, if you want the "woosh" then go for it.

A recirc vale (as supplied) and a BOV are effectively the same thing. It's just that a recirc releases charge back into the intake tract and a BOV releases it to atmosphere.

The Synchronic is a good piece. You will need the adaptor that mounts it on a 1 inch tube, a short length of 1 inch tube and two jubilee clips. Also, because it no longer needs the return line you will need to cap this off. So a 1 inch cap and another jubilee clip.

Alternatively you could just buy one of these:

I just looked at this. The pricing on the top two is crazy!

The ones without the trumpet are just stronger (billet aluminium) versions of the Bosch.

Then there's one that has a trumpet and a bypass connection. It gives some whoosh but mostly bypasses.

Then there is the one with only a trumpet. It just whooshes.

I believe you are missing the intake box and elbow that goes to the unit. Are you getting any bboost?
