To let the SC'd s2ks battle it out aside from the turbo group.
Why not put the SC guys together w/ Turbos?
The SC guys will probably win the shootout when every turbo guy stars blowing diffs and trannies lol

If you want to stretch out the S....screw the 1/4 mile, run the mile instead.

A stock S does it at about 135mph in the mile. The big drag coefficient wall hits around 140.

You're not coming anywhere near the S2000's capability in the quarter.

The hardnest part is gonna be people comitting and sending in a deposit and making a central location. We would def. have to piggy back with another group thats for sure.

Rules are gonna be a tough one but whats gonna be the difference in street/race cars? Tires? Street Car s2000's are gonna be running low 10's and arent gonna meet NHRA safety rules. How many s2000's can pass tech with their times/traps....

as i said this is not an easy one, I spent a lot of time dealing with NHRA when the rules came out for their sport compact series..

you also need tech inspectors to check cars before and after passes..your best bet to just to piggy back off various events and competitors can compete in the various classes based upon their setups. In that was the ownership is on the event and the owner placing his/her car in the right field.

We run street class..my car is registered and all the requirements for a street car at the sanctioning bodies..so i am game for this..

I think we just make sure every car meets NHRA safety guidelines, if it doesn't it can't race.

Also, I think it'd be pretty easy to draw the line between race cars and street cars. Exhaust, fuel, tires, interior, etc.

For me to be "in" I'd have to know where it is going to be held.

The distance for travel would be the deciding factor for me.

Any suggestions on location?

Tulsa, Oklahoma is in the middle or, Texas, kansas at the IFO events?
